Beginner Christmas Cookie Decorating Class

$50 per person

Usher in the holiday season with this fun Christmas cookie decorating class.

This is an in-person class in Mesa AZ.

Students must be 12 years or older for this class.

In this class we will decorate five cookies using royal icing.

All supplies and tools will be provided as well as snacks and a goody bag to take home.

No prior decorating experience is needed.

Once your request to join the class has been received you will be emailed an invoice. Your spot in class is reserved upon receipt of payment.

If there is enough interest a second class will be added in December.

About

The Slippery Whisk is a registered, home-based, cottage food operator in Mesa AZ offering custom decorated sugar cookies as well as a variety of drop cookies and occasional specialty items such as homemade marshmallows, spiced nuts and cookie cakes. As a cottage food operator, we do not ship outside of Arizona.

I am currently focusing on teaching cookie decorating classes and therefore am not taking custom cookie orders. As time permits I will have holiday cookies available to purchase. You can find those on The Slippery Whisk Facebook page when they get posted.

Our Story

When you grow up with a family of bakers it's no surprise you grow up to be one yourself. Add in a lifetime of crafting and it just seemed natural to end up making edible creations.

What started out as a cake decorating hobby soon became a cupcake fascination as I turned in my cake pans for muffin tins. After doing cupcakes for a while and always looking for something new to try, I was inspired by my friend, Gloria, to try my hand at decorated sugar cookies. Once I got those first few cookies under my belt I was hooked and never looked back!

I became a registered Cottage Food Operator in 2016.
